Express Clinics

At Pear Tree Medical Centre, we understand that acute medical conditions require prompt attention. At our Express Clinic service, provides same-day appointments for patients experiencing urgent but non-emergency medical issues.

How to Book

Urgent same-day appointments can be arranged through:

• Online booking system – on our website or on the AMS app.
• Telephone booking – contact our reception staff for same-day appointments only
  
  

Standard appointment duration is 15 minutes, with extended time available when clinically necessary.

Suitable Conditions

Our Pear Tree Express appointments are designed for patients presenting with:

• Urinary tract infections (UTI)
• Suspected fractures or broken bones
• Wound dressings and minor cuts
• Animal bites (excluding snake bites)
• Minor Burns
  
  

Conditions Requiring Alternative Appointments

The following symptoms require booking through our standard sick clinic rather than urgent appointments:

• Respiratory symptoms (including colds and flu)
• Rashes
• High temperature/fever
• Vomiting (unless severe)
